Fishing Charters

Nothing beats the feeling of catching a wild fish offshore Newcastle, and our fishing charter can get you there.

Our offshore fishing charters can be tailored to suit your needs. They can be from 4 to 6 hours duration. Usually our morning trips start at sunrise and our afternoon trips start around midday.

A 6 hour morning trip costs $140.00 per person and includes all your bait and tackle. Morning tea and a tasty lunch are also provided. Water and soft drinks are available.
Please note all bookings during the December and January period will be charged at $150.00 per person.

A 4 hour trip costs $120.00 per person and includes all your bait and tackle. Morning tea is provided and plenty of water and soft drinks are available.

There are several picking up spots on Newcastle harbour and these can be used to best suit your needs. There is a minimum booking of 4 people to a maximum of 7 people. Less than 4 people can be included into an existing charter where possible.

If you wish to fish longer than 6 hours, the cost of the boat for each hour after 6 hours is $100.00.

Trevor uses Penn Rods and Reels and Shakespeare Ugly Stiks with a variety of bait options from WA pilchards, mullet, squid and local prawns to give you the best chance of catching fish.

Note:
To get the most out of your fishing experience and to prevent seasickness, it is advised for all patrons to take half a Kwell tablet the night prior to your charter and the morning of. Seasickness tablets such as Kwell’s, can be purchased at your local chemist and will not be provided on the fishing charter.
